Challenge
The global campaign and advocacy organization co-founded by U2’s iconic leader and activist, Bono asked us to help them command the attention of media influencers with development campaign communique directed to top influential philanthropic donors to simultaneously drive interest, editorial, and significant financial contributions from the world’s most powerful individuals and nations.
Insight
The core mission of One.org is to fight extreme poverty and preventable disease in the poorest parts of the world via advocacy, particularly in Africa. To stand out from the crowd of competing and worthy causes, the kit and packaging needed visually arresting imagery, and to figuratively and literally have weight to compel the recipient to “must give/must share/must join” action.
Solution
We custom designed a branded, lucite photo box (8 1/2″ x 11″) to house high-resolution black and white photographs printed onto metal die-bond, depicting beneficiaries of One.org where they live. Stacked and interchangeable, each photograph is gently separated by an opaque, vellum sheet with a description and CTA. Information pages are interwoven, and wrapped together in an elegant bellyband. We created a branded USB wafer card containing press materials, additional images and video, housing it within a debossed space, One.org’s logo imprinted on the front and backside.
